Ours is a program designed for high-achieving executives who understand today's business challenges and want to prepare for those yet to come.

Many of our current students work in the banking, healthcare, law, media, and nonprofit sectors. More than half receive partial or full sponsorships from supportive employers who know they will get an exceptional return on their investment.

Options & Locations

Five terms, meeting approximately every other Friday and Saturday, over 20 months. Starting in August. 

  • Employer sponsorship of time is required, while financial sponsorship is optional. 
  • After the core curriculum, students choose from diverse electives, including biweekly classes, intensive weeklong courses, and international seminars. 
  • Students join clusters and learning teams, creating a supportive community that blends academic learning with real-world business challenges.

Application Process

Step 1: Review Application Requirements

We strongly encourage you to attend an information session to learn more about the application process. We cannot stress enough how important it is to learn as much as possible before starting your application. 

Application Checklist

Ensure that you understand and are able to meet the application requirements, which include:

Step 2: Submit Your Application

Once you’ve gathered all of the required application materials, you will submit the application online via the Columbia Business School application portal. All materials, including your letter of recommendation and application fee, must be submitted before the deadline.

Step 3: Prepare for Your Interview

Interviews are by invitation only. 

If you are invited to interview, you will receive an e-mail with instructions on how to set the interview up. Interviews are usually conducted by alumni. Please be aware that your interviewer will not be familiar with the details of your application other than your professional resume, if you choose to provide one. Interviews are by invitation only; they cannot be requested by applicants. 

Step 4: Secure Your Spot

If you are admitted, you will secure your spot with a nonrefundable tuition deposit. More information about next steps will be communicated upon admission.

Six terms, meeting approximately every Saturday, over 24 months. Starting in May. 

  • With a schedule from 8:30 a.m. to 6:45 p.m., the program fits seamlessly into your busy week.
  • Employer sponsorship — either through time off or financial support — is welcomed, though not required.
  • After the core curriculum, students choose from diverse electives, including biweekly classes, intensive weeklong courses, and international seminars. 
  • Students join clusters and learning teams, creating a supportive community that blends academic learning with real-world business challenges.

  • A unique program in which you earn two full MBA degrees after studying in these two major hubs of global business
