Columbia Business School offers a variety dual degrees in collaboration with distinguished Columbia University schools. Prospective students with goals spanning disciplines can pursue dual expertise in two signature programs, the Three-year JD/MBA, in partnership with Columbia Law School, and the Dual MBA/Executive MS in Engineering & Applied Science (MBAxMS), in partnership with Columbia University's Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS). We also offer nine MBA dual degrees in fields including dental surgery, journalism, public health, and architecture.
The Programs
Three-Year JD/MBA
For those looking to excel in legal and business realms, the Three-Year JD/MBA Program jointly offered by Columbia Business School and Columbia Law School represents a comprehensive, cohesive journey in two of the most dynamic professional fields. Submit a single application and embark on three years of rigorous, interconnected studies that shape future legal-business experts.
Current 1L students enrolled at Columbia Law School may apply directly to the MBA program for consideration for the Three-Year JD/MBA program provided they meet the Round 1 MBA deadline (no exceptions).
Current 1L or 2L students enrolled at Columbia Law School may apply directly to the MBA program for consideration to the Four-Year JD/MBA program by any of the three round deadlines.
MBA/Executive MS: Engineering & Applied Science
Bridge the gap between business mastery and engineering innovation through the two-year MBA/Executive MS dual degree program. Experience an education that merges Columbia Business School's strategic business insight with the technological prowess of the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science, all consolidated into a joint application for admission.
