For the 2022 Admissions Cycle, Columbia Business School and Columbia Law School are pleased to share a joint application for the 3-Year JD/MBA Program.  Please note, if admitted, applicants to the 3-Year JD/MBA program will complete their first year of study at Columbia Law School

Applicants will be required to submit the joint application, as well as a CAS report via an application supplement, which will be available through LSAC beginning September 1.  Application requirements include an online application, resume, CAS report, essay question, optional supplemental statements, application fee, 2 letters of recommendation, transcripts, and standardized test scores. Interviews are by invitation only.  Please open an application to review detailed instructions.

Deadlines:

Early Decision Deadline: November 15, 2021
Regular Decision Deadline: February 15, 2022

Essay Question:

Why are you interested in the JD/MBA at Columbia University?  What are your career goals after completing the program? (500 words). 

Review Timeline and Deposits:

Applications will be reviewed, and decisions rendered, jointly.* 

For Early Decision applicants, we expect to provide a final decision by December 31, 2021.  If admitted, your $2,000 non-refundable tuition deposit will be due by January 15, 2022. 

For Regular Decision applicants, we expect to provide a final decision by April 15, 2022. If admitted, your $2,000 non-refundable tuition deposit will be due by May 1, 2022. 

*Please note, it is possible to be admitted to the 3-Year JD/MBA, to be admitted to the JD-only, or to be admitted to the MBA-only.  If admitted to the JD-only or MBA-only you would follow the respective deposit deadlines and amounts for each individual school.
