The Ideal Candidate
Master of Science in Marketing Science students come from a variety of undergraduate programs. They need to combine strong analytical skills and creativity to succeed as an “analytical marketeer”. The typical student has taken probability and/or statistics, and linear algebra at the undergraduate level. It is also desirable that applicants have some experience in a programing language, preferably Python or R. All majors are encouraged to apply, especially those interested in STEM-related fields.

Application Materials
To be considered for the program, you must submit an essay, a résumé with details of your academic background and credentials, at least two letters of recommendation, and test scores (GMAT or GRE, and TOEFFL or IELTS for students who were schooled in a language other than English). There is a nonrefundable application fee of U.S. $100. Fee waivers are available to active duty US military personnel, and members of the Peace Corps, Teach for America, Teach for China, or Teach for India who are currently in service. Proof of current service is required. Applicants who qualify for a fee waiver should email the fee waiver request with proof of service. Applications will be reviewed after all materials have been submitted and the application fee paid.
Deadline
The 2024 MS in Marketing Science application deadline has passed. The fall 2025 application will be available August 1st. Decisions are typically rendered in March, if not earlier.
